Chateau Beychevelle 2014

This wine is medium to full-bodied with a classic, structured, and elegant texture. The core features prominent savory notes of cedarwood, pencil shavings, tobacco leaf, and black tea, beautifully balanced by ripe flavors of blackcurrant (cassis), dark plum, and a touch of subtle earthy forest floor. The tannins are fine-grained, firm, and silky, showing great integration, and are lifted by a lively, fresh acidity. It finishes dry, long, and classically refined, with lingering notes of dark fruit, savory spice, and clean, integrated oak.
