This wine is medium-to-full-bodied, intensely aromatic, and remarkably complex with a silky, tight-knit, and polished texture. The 2018 vintage—a warm, exceptional year in the region—delivers a core of ripe red cherries, wild forest strawberries, and dark plums, seamlessly layered with notes of crushed slate, graphite, damp earth, subtle herbal spices, and refined French oak vanilla. On the palate, it exhibits fantastic depth and tension, supported by ultra-fine, chalky tannins and a vibrant, cool-climate slate acidity that gives the wine impressive drive. It finishes bone-dry, exceptionally long, and mineral-laden, leaving lingering notes of red berries, toasted spice, and smoky slate.
